Good times, good times.
This past Saturday was chock full of upsets. So it's no surprise that their was a bit of a shakeup in the top ten. What is surprising, however, is that it wasn't more drastic. Florida and Oklahoma remain in the top 10, despite loses to unranked opponents.
The other big change was at the top spot. USC won a tough road game at Washington, while LSU beat down on Tulane, which somehow led to LSU claiming numero uno. The voting was close though, which is somewhat encouraging. You could make arguments for both squads being the best in the nation, but I can't see how the results of last week's games should have shifted the balance.
We'll find out in the next few weeks just how good Kentucky is. And if they deserve they're ranking. Same with LSU.
